1. How and why did you transition from being a part time to full time realtor?
I transitioned to being a full time realtor at the end of 2016. I transitioned because first I really do love real estate and I knew I wanted to put all of myself into it. Second, I knew I couldn’t be great at anything with divided attention so I had to go for it. It’s been almost 3 years being full time and I love it. I was very strategic with my jump to full time, as I planned and saved for over a year to prepare. I recommend anyone that’s thinking of going into business full time to be very strategic with it.
2 What advice do you offer aspiring real estate agents?
The advice I offer is to really show people that you care. Every client I work with feels like they’re my only client and I work very hard to make all my clients feel special. Customer service is everything to me. Also I tell all agents to really work hard at it. Nobody will give you anything and no one owes you anything. Really work hard to get the business and it will come.
3. How does your day-to-day look?
My day is different everyday. One thing I like about real estate is no two days are exactly alike. A few things I do everyday are follow up with clients and past clients, prospect for business on social media and follow up on my active deals. Besides that everyday is vastly different for me. I also try to take someone, whether someone for business or a past client, to lunch everyday.
4. Why do you think it was important to collaborate with Credit Expert Tamika Alexander?
It’s important to have a good credit specialist on my team because some people come to me that aren’t ready to buy credit-wise but they still want to eventually buy. Just because a client isn’t ready now doesn’t mean we won’t work with them. My goal is to help as many people as I can purchase a home whether their credit score is great or not. If your score isn’t great we can help you get it there.
5. Where do you want to see your brand in the next five years?
In the next five years I want to be one of the top Realtors in the country and one of the best luxury Realtors. I aspire to be a sports and entertainment Realtor, so I’m working hard to achieve that goal.
6. What is your WHY?
My WHY is my family. I want to give my family the best this life has to offer and I don’t want them to have to work as hard as I do everyday. I work hard to pass down a successful business to my kids. Generational wealth is what I’m all about.
