About the Hello Forties Documentary:

Hello Forties,’ is a documentary that explores the complex lives of four 40-something professionals.

Throughout the documentary, we observe these four characters in real life as they deal with significant challenges. Each story culminates with each of them finding their ‘Aha moment,’ harnessing their strength and forging ahead. 

About The Characters:

Pittsburgh native, comic, actor, producer and entrepreneur Tony “T-Robe” Roberson. Tony, juggles family, depression, and the ups and downs of being an entertainer. 

Washington, DC playwright, producer, actress and entrepreneur Dana Hicks-Hungerford, formerly addicted to ecstasy pills, grieves the loss of her father and the prospect of not having children.

NYC producer, creative director, and life coach Rachel Urena, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, juggles love, family, and career success.

UK-born, Emmy nominated filmmaker and LGBTQIA+ advocate Fiona Dawson, who resides in Austin, heals from an abusive relationship and begins to pursue her life as an openly bisexual woman who strongly advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community across the US. 

‘Hello Forties’ was screened at the Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival . The Washington, DC Premiere of the Hello Forties Documentary is scheduled for 8/20/2022 at the beautiful Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite. We hope to see you there.
